There's something wrong.........

.........somewhere when the first thing Dexter does after being let out next door is run into my house for a drink of water. Preferring the dry food I buy for my lot and always leave down I could understand, but not just water

He's done this for the past few days, Jimmy doesn't, nor did Max before adopting me, so I'm assuming they have water at home. I might just mention this to Debbie in case he's developed a excessive thirst that needs to be investigated.

Are you sure he is getting water at home, maybe it's not cold/fresh enough for him.
I know Buddy likes his water cold, despite him getting fresh everyday he doesn't always drink when I put it down, prefering to let me know when he's ready.

I don't know for sure he's getting water at home, but assume he is. Thinking about it, if there was anything wrong he'd be drinking a lot more than just when he first comes in here.

Bonnie never drinks out of her own bowl, even though a fresh supply of water is always provided for her. She will drink water out of Malo's bowl though, as if she doesn't have any of her own. Maybe Dexter just has this thing about the water in your place being better than elsewhere.

As if to prove me a liar, he came in earlier but never went near the 2 water bowls in my living room, nor had a drink since.

Prince NEVER drinks out of his bowl either, although it is changed twice daily! He prefers to drink out of the minging dishes we have scattered around the garden, which collect rain water and god-only-knows what else in them!

same with Moto, I saw him licking the water that was on the ground ysterday, even drinks the gunge from the bird bath, Sophie on the otherhand has to sit in the kitchen sink until one of us switches it on. LOL

Malo sits in the bath waiting for us to turn the tap on. Aren't they just daft!!!
