Sick..................
Jeeeez, what a 60 seconds I've just had
Gt woke up and promptly threw up on my bedroom floor .................closely followed by Fudge doing the same on my bed I don't know if Fudge joined in out of sympathy with GT, but I do know I very nearly joined in
I'm pretty sure GT ate some dry late yesterday as *someone* had brought some back near the dry bowl in my bedroom, and I think he was the only cat upstairs...............the food is from a freshly opened box of Go Cat Tuna, Herring with vegetables, and I'm very tempted to throw it away in case it's contaminated in some way. I bought another box yesterday as well.................bugger............

Re: Sick..................
Oh my sympathise to you. This sounds mean but before you chuck it out try giving it to him again (a tiny portion) if he throws up again, well you'll know it's bad, but it's probably just coincidence. He' such a sickly cat anyway I can't see the food being contaminated.

Re: Sick..................
Hi Kath,
A better test would be to give Fudge some more as she much prefers dry, whereas to the best of my knowledge, yesterday was the first time GT had eaten some. It could be dry was just a shock to his system but the long odds on two cats throwing up so close together, and that Bola hasn't touched this food makes me suspicious.
'EDIT'
Scrap that about Bola, he's tucking into some atm, if he keeps it down it'll just have been coincidence both Fudge and GT were sick like that.

Re: Sick..................
yeah I forgot Fudge threw up too (blonde moment), play safe and throw it out, cat sick is gross so rather than chance that again, put it inn the bin, or scatter it about outside the seagulls will eat it.

Re: Sick..................
Talk about two for the price of one... Eeeeeeeeek! (not a squeal of delight... ROFL!)
Oh man..... that's just the way you do NOT want to start the day...
Hope Fudge and GT are ok!

Gads! Eughhh, nothing like easing you into the day slowly eh? You may want to suggest to them a better of saying good morning is with a cuppa coffee! LOL! Oh I'd be chucking that food away, even if it is a coincidence, so not to risk it again... although as Bolas tucked in I guess you'll find out soon enough! LOL

Re: Sick..................
Barring GT, they've all had some more of that dry today with no more mishaps, so it must have just been coincidence

Re: Sick..................
Could be that dry is too concentrated for him, his system maybe can't digest it properly. Fudge had probably pigged out too much.

Yeah, it probably is too concentrated for him, tho' why he ate it in the first place is a mystery, I've yet to see him even sniff at a bowl of dry...............I wish, just for once, Fudge would pig-out on food instead of all the dainty snacking she does. I keep thinking she isn't getting enough to eat, but she's happy enough and her weight is constant.

Re: Sick..................
Sophie does exactly the same, eats 2/3 biscuits, goes out to pee, comes in, eats a bit more, washes herself, has a nap, eats a bit more. She has never gourged herself the way Moto does.
