Yet *another* visitor
Jimmy came bolting thro' the flap like a hellhound was on his tail while I was in the kitchen, and when I looked at the flap I saw a strange face peeping in. Bola and Max appeared and the stranger wandered off, so I nipped outside and a completely new cat to me was sat at the side of the house, a lovely semi long haired black and white cat who had the bushiest tail I've ever seen.
Of course I shouted it, and it was on it's way towards me when Bola and Dexter appeared and chased it off. Is there no end to the cats who hear about my catflap being open 24/7?

Re: Yet *another* visitor
LOL. The cheeky wee thing looking through the flap, probably heard that he'd be welcome at your's so he had to investigate first. He will probably be back later for another look.
The neighbourhood cats keep on calling. Oh when will they stop.
You'll have to put a sign outside your house Ian that says "Cat Haven all cat's welcome, B&B included through the cat flap, Just come on in and make yourself at home".
You could start up your own cat sitting business with all the caller's your getting.

Re: Yet *another* visitor
Since we've let Percy come and go from the garden we've had lots of visitors to the catflap, I'm guessing they must follow Percy. I keep seeing different cats that aren't the usual neighbourhood faces, it makes me wonder where they're coming from.
Like you, I shoo them off but the next time they appear I give them a quick stroke before asking them to go. It's so hard to be firm with them isn't it!

I don't get any visitors in my garden, apart from a cat across from us. I've seen her in my garden once, when I had put some biscuits out, and she actually came through the flap once, miowed and froze when she realised she was in the wrong house, and shot out the flap and over the gate. She doesn't like Mary though so I try to keep Mary in when she is roaming around outside.
Re: Yet *another* visitor
I'd never seen this cat before today, hardly surprising really considering how many houses are on this estate, there must be lots who haven't yet heard about my permanently open cat flap
As I nipping out shopping a short while ago, Bola and Dexter were sat in my front garden with a *new friend* so I guess it wont be long before I get yet another visitor. At least I know where this black cat lives, diectly across the road from me, so I won't mind shooing it away (as if that'd happen )

A mouse would be preferable to the *payment* the spraying black tom regularly leaves ..........speaking of which, I caught the sod in the house again earlier and from where I saw him it looks like he'd been upstairs..........he'd better hope I never actually get close enough to drench him with my spray gun.........or rub some mustard on his nosepokbg wrote:lol!
