Bolas off hunting..........
............some giant crows in my cherry tree atm, and they are really huge I hope he doesn't somehow manage to catch one and bring it in to show me, tho' there's not much chance of that, they're bigger than him, but if he can just stop them squawking even the anti cat people round here will be grateful

LOL! Well those must be trickier to catch than sparrows! Good luck Bola, watch they don't fly off with him!

He didn't do more than stalk them (thank God) they could have done some serious damage with their beaks if he'd actually manage to get one.
The thought of one flying off with him is brilliant, a bit scary but very

Re: Bolas off hunting..........
LOL, scary, but Calvins just reminded me. When he was a kid in Scotalnd, he had a cat called Snowey that would go on walks with him and run up hills with him etc. Now a big bugger of a bird (he can't remember what type of bird, possibly a rook type) swooped down and grabbed snowey, (who must have looked like a white rabbit from above lol) fly off, but swiftly dropped the 'bunny' with sharp claws! LOL, Snowey was fine, I hasten to add and trotted home for tea! lol. Snowey was a mad one, she used to climb behind their fire when it was on and fall asleep and come out covered in soot.

Re: Bolas off hunting..........
I take it Bola decided that massive crow might not be too good of an idea to have on todays menu afterall... lol!
Glad to hear Snowie was ok back then, Helen... back home eagles would occasionally snatch cats, generally farm cats, as they would walk about on the fields (the eagles weren't too interested in swooping down into peoples gardens).

Hi pokbg,
No, common sense prevailed, he realised they were just too big for him to handle. He might have got lucky and caught one, but there were half a dozen or more in the tree, and if they'd all attacked he would have been in real trouble...........still, he would have learned not to do it again
