While the cats away...........

......the mice will play tomorrow

As I'll be out early and out for most of the day at hospital for a checkup (and drinkies in town afterwards) it's my being the cat and they being the mice. The weather forecast isn't good, so it looks like I'll either need to lock them in or leave the flap open, but the odds on them being in when I set off are slim, so it looks like I'll be leaving the flap open.

As long as Bola doesn't invite all his friends round, it should be ok, but they'd better eat a good breakfast as I won't be leaving any dry food down while I'm out.

Typically, the weather is glorious atm, so they're all out without having breakfast. They'll have to be quick as I'll be setting off around 8.15am and probably won't be back till around 5pm. I'll leave the flap open but shut all the doors, tho' Bola has worked out he can push a couple of them open. I'm more bothered about the spraying tom having free access all day than anything.

The first thing I saw when I opened the curtains in the spare bedroom was him spraying on a hedge across the road.................he does it so often it's a wonder he's not dehydrated

Amazingly enough, the house was in one piece when I got home, in fact only the spare bedroom door had been pushed open, and that was almost certainly down to Bola. No sign of the spraying tom having called and left his calling card.

They've hardly ventured in since I got home, which no doubt means they'll be in and out all night after I've gone to bed
