I think I've told this story before, but anyway, it's true and well worth repeating.Teddy wrote:Ian B wrote:Because they canTeddy wrote:...................eat with their tail sticking right out, so that I almost stand on it?Even worse is them wanting to come in if you have no flap...................always want outside at 4am?Have you ever tasted their food?...................and always think what you're eating is better than theirs?

Many years ago we had a rent collector call who used to work in Manchester, and one day called on a Indian family to collect their rent. He was invited to sit down and share their evening meal, a curry, which he did and enjoyed greatly, but he couldn't work out what the meat was, so asked the wife of the house. She promptly disappeared into the kitchen and returned with two empty dog food tins and the rent collector was never certain if she was being serious or just winding him up, but he never ate there again

ROFL! Yuck.... and saying that I have eaten dog-chocolate (no... not in desperation for chocolate... lol! As a kid one of my friends fathers was a distributor of the stuff... so we couldn't help ourselves... just had to try it), and it wasn't too bad... like tasteless chocolate mixed with chalk.Teddy wrote:She promptly disappeared into the kitchen and returned with two empty dog food tins and the rent collector was never certain if she was being serious or just winding him up, but he never ate there again

I've had the dog chocolate as well, I didn't think it was too bad either. LOL Well I went back for more.
