New kitten
No, not me, but it looks like Donna (Williams owner) has got one.
I set off shopping earlier and as I got close to her house I could hear a, obviously a kitten, miaowing it's head off to be let in. As per usual, I couldn't walk past without calling it and a few seconds later a fabulous, yowling ball of black and white fluff climbed over a fence to say hello. Only about 6 months old max, still to young to be out imo, the little sod set off following me as I walked down the road.
I had to pick it up and go back, all the time it must have been thinking this was a great new game, but after two attempts it got the message and stayed
I hope I'm wrong, but I've neither seen or heard Donnas other cat for weeks now, so I hope she hasn't lost her so soon after losing William, but this cat was about 19yo, so it wouldn't be a surprise if she has. There's just a chance this kitten could belong to her neighbours, but I can't see that as they've always been more of a dog family. Either way, no doubt I'll be getting visited by yet another cat before too long.

Yep, no doubt once Bola finds out about this kitten he'll be handing out his usual invite to my house

Re: New kitten
The wee one sounds V cute! I wonder if anything has happened to her other puss then Ian. A tooty kitten will put a smile on everyones faces though, though will never replace loved ones lost.

Re: New kitten
I very rarely see Donna to ask as she's a bit of a recluse due to ill health, but as she's always had cats, at one point 10+, it wouldn't surprise me to find she's got a kitten now.*Prince* wrote:The wee one sounds V cute! Re: New kitten
Sounds like a lovely little bundle of fur!
Maybe she/he's being kept in until old enough to explore the outside world and that day you saw her she'd snuk out a window or something? Either way... yup... sounds like a potentential new housemate for Bola!

Re: New kitten
It's a kitten Helen, are there any other sorts but lovely bundles of fluff?
I'm not keen on it being so people friendly at such a young age tho', not everyone is cat mad, plus it'd be oh so easy for a kid to pick it up and take it home thinking they could keep it.

Yep. Thats what worries me too Ian. Some kitties are just too trusting, and in the wrong hands...........

Re: New kitten
I heard two cats miaowing to be let in earlier, I know one was Donnas older cat even tho' I couldn't actually see them, I'd recognise her miaow anywhere and it follows the second cat was the kitten.
