Biting kitten
Kim has started to bite everything, paper, cables, her sister, why is she doing this, I can't remember if Moto did this at this age. Mel doesn't do it, but Mel is so gentle, I doubt if she knows what her teeth are for. Anyone put some light on this?

Re: Biting kitten
Hi Kath,
Beckett was the same as a kitten, it was a constant battle to stop him chewing/biting things, especially electric leads. How he never electrocuted himself I'll never know.

Re: Biting kitten
It's an age thing, isn't it? I remember Percy doing the same - wires, ankles, shoes, toes and fingers. I'm sure it's part of their hunting development. Anyway, Percy grew out of that pretty quickly (although he will have a cheeky nip at my fingers if I'm mindlessly moving them).
I guess you can be thankful they're not both at it!

Re: Biting kitten
LOL which makes me think Mel (b&w) is younger than 8/9 weeks, she still has that toddle walk as well, whereas Kim, biting everything and galloping around the place like there is no tomorrpw, now I would say she is 8/9 weeks. Och well doesn't really matter, they're both thriving so that's the main thing.

Re: Biting kitten
Bless! Pok was like that too... and at times he still is (normally if he's not happy with something... like me feeding him the "wrong" food... he'll still chew and bit at anything in sight... whilst looking me straight in the eye, well knowing he's not supposed to).
It is nutoruiously a kitten phase though, and hopefully she'll get out of it soon... probably about the time Mel get's into it! ROFL!
