..........that once your cat is a chunky monkey that's the way they'll stay unless we take very drastic action. Sophie hasn't lost an ounce, even though I measure her food out everyday and she doesn't eat it all. So from now on I'm going to chill out about it, make sure she doesn't put on anymore weight and just leave her as she is, happy, affectionate and not caring tuppence.

Leave her be Kath, as long as she's not grossly overweight and there's no underlying medical condition, she'll be ok as she is.

For all I've said Bola now has a saggy belly, overall he's sleek, but I'll bet anything the vets would say he's overweight as he's simply so heavy.

Mary is a bit on the chunky side, but the vet was pleased with her so I'm not worried.

Yes, she's not overly fat, she's more *compact* but there is no point is stressing ourselves or her , she's healthy and that's the main thing.
