Feeling guilty! Empty Feeling guilty!

Post by *Prince* Fri May 21, 2010 1:14 pm

Today we are off camping for TWO nights. We have only been for one so far, so this will be the first time we will have left our boy on his own so long. Must admit the guilt is creeping in already! Rolling Eyes
I will be measuring out his feeds to last him through to Sunday lunchtime when we will get back, and he can come and go thru his cat flap, and of course (as usual) have the pick of the bed(s) etc where he wants to sleep, but still I feel like a bad mum.
(of course I have posted this in the hope that someone will say "dont worry, he will be absolutely fine, blah blah *soothe my worried brow* etc) Laughing Wink

Now you know he will be, so just relax and enjoy the break, just be aware that he will ignore you when you come home, just to make a point. Feeling guilty! 43453

Princey pie will be ok, if it's nice and sunny he will probably make the most of it.
I know the guilty feeling, I hate leaving my two. Mum in law has asked to to go to her's and stay over, I always feel guilty leaving them, and am dreading telling her that we will be over for the day but coming back at night.

He'll have a whale of a time when you're away and then cash in by making you feel guilty on your return so the way I see it, he'll be getting 2 holidays out of your 1! Lol! Have a great time and don't worry about your lovely lad.

He'll be fine, if anything he'll be feeling guilty about you finding out what he's been up to while you've been away Laughing
