Clingy Isis Empty Clingy Isis

Post by Ali Sun Nov 09, 2008 3:17 pm

It's strange but last night and today Isis appears to be 'clingy' around us. I put it down to the fact that there were very loud fireworks going off out the back on Friday night, where our bedroom is and where Isis likes to sleep, and she was scared of them. She seems to be staying in the living room with us more (which is lovely) but not like her Shocked She's rubbing round our legs and being generally more affectionate which doesn't happen normally- antisocial bugger!
I'm wondering if she can sense something's going to happen soon...............? Like me going into labour??? Wishful thinking.....
Dave googled it and found some info about pets being able to sense pregnant women goin into labour. We shall see.

Heehee, clever Isis if thats the case! I do believe that animals sense things we don't, so she prob knows something! EEeeek! There could be a lil baby soon! Oh tho, it'll be lovely to have a lovey Isis regardless of reason.

Oh bless her! Here's hoping she's sending lovely vibes to Isla, so she can get to meet her "sister"!

That's really interesting, Ali, because Percy is the same (and I'm sure not pregnant!). He's sleeping on our bed and looking for much more fuss. I wonder if it's an age thing? Isis and Percy are so close in age and I've read that BSHs get more affectionate as they age.

Hmmm that's probably more the case Laura than Isis sensing me going into labour. It's nice though to have her in the room with us more often than shoving off to the bedroom and sleeping in there all day....
