There are a lot of cats around where I live but there is this one cat I feel really sorry for. We kept seeing it walking along the fence and thought it looked a bit scruffy and then one day it came in the garden right up to the glass doors and its sooo thin at first its hard to tell how thin it is because its longhair but if you look closely you can see its bones sticking out.

The second time it came in the garden all 5 of ours saw in and they fluffed up their fur and started growling at it so we moved them all and put some cat food outside the door it ran away at first but a few minutes later it came back and ate the whole packet of cat food.

It did go away for a few days but yesterday when I was at the concert it came back at about 11.30pm and my sister gave it some more food and this time it wasn't as scared and when she opened the door to get the dish it tried to come in the house.

We cant tell the sex or age but its absolutely adorable its mostly black with white socks and I think some white on its face it was hard to tell in the dark. We don't think it has an owner as its so thin and scruffy. If it was groomed it would be beautiful.

Were going to stay up a bit late tonight to see if it comes for some food and I will try to get some pics I just hope it has somewhere cool to go in this weather.

A big Little visitor 579159 to both of you for looking out for/feeding this cat. If it wasn't as scared and tried to come into the house, it suggests there is a home, or has been till very recently, so it may just be lost.

The times I've done the same over the years, and some people say cats aren't grateful, but I know from experience they are and show it as well when you've gained their confidence.
