Night time frolics
As you know Sophie has been sleeping so very close to me at night that I end up with hairs up my nose. Well that I can cope with, but the last two nights around 2/3 am she has been grooming herself..........for an hour. Why oh why, is that necessary at that time in the morning and why is it so noisy !!!! A few licks with the tongue shouldn't be so loud and go on so long, am demented.

Re: Night time frolics
Hi Kath,
Yeah, that waking up from a coma like sleep to have a wash, and a noisy one at that, is mega annoying isn't it?
Max and Dexter were almost as bad last night, Dexter slept across my feet and Max slept across my knees..............never mind my comfort, as long as they were ok it didn't matter. It didn't help that Dexter was in a toe hunting mood either, I didn't dare move my feet. Needless to say, they got to sleep long before I did.

Re: Night time frolics
Oh not the "I'm going to wake you up early with my washing routine"
I've had Mary beside me all night, got hairs all over my face, been purred on(and she's loud), been headbutted, nibbled, licked to death, had my eyes pried open and had a big but in my face. Bloomin cats, I can do with out that early morning, thank you very much.
*Anyone want another couple of furbabies*

ROFL, I've had all that at one point, but since we've been back she hasn't been a problem, she has actually snuggled into me and slept, except the last two nights. Now I have tempted fate and tonight she'll be a blooming pest.

Re: Night time frolics
Well I did say I was tempting fate and I did. She was a complete pain in the butt last night,so at 4am she was unceremoniously dumped in the kitchen. needless to say she completely ignored me this morning. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

Re: Night time frolics
Why do we put up with em?
Mark let Mary in the bedroom last night and at 4am the little madam decided I needed a wash, then she couldn't decide which bit of the bed she wanted to sleep on, followed by her trying to get comfy, then she wanted a wash, right next to my face, lovely view I had of her "bits".
She did eventually settle unrtil 7am when she wanted feeding, she kept jumping on and off the bed, looking in her bowl to see if it had miraculously filled itself up, until I couldn't take anymore and fed her, only for her to ignore me once she'd finished eating it and she sat in the window giving me the evil eye look.
Cats who needs em. LOL.

LOL Oh I know, this morning I was so tired, probably first week back and being really busy, but I could have seen her far enough, little attention seeker, then she acts all disgruntled as though it was all my fault she needed feeding at that time of night /day. LOL
