Talking in their sleep?
Does anybody else have a cat that chatters away and meows and squeaks in their sleep?
You know how dogs will dream and their limbs will twitch and they'll often whimper as though they are chasing something etc......do cats do that too? Just wondered because our wee tortie lodger does it all the time Some of the noises she'll make are quite loud and had us a bit shocked at first yesterday as we thought she was having a fit or something!!!
I think it's just her as no other cat I have ever known has done this.

Bonnie does it too, although the whimper isn't as loud as I have known other cats do it - probably because it is mixed up with and drowned out by very loud snoring She doesn't half kick though

Re: Talking in their sleep?
All my cats have done it, past & present, I have often gently woken them when it sounded alarming, like hissing or distressed meowing! Don't like the thought of them having a nightmare! How daft am I! So I wouldn't worry it seems quite normal.
