I nearly found out..........

...........what dry cat food tastes like a few minutes ago.

I'd gone downstairs to get a bowl of bran flakes while reminding myself to refill their dry bowls, and of course, absent mindedly filled mine with cat food instead. It was only when I started pouring the milk on that I noticed my brekkie didn't smell *quite right* A few seconds later I would have taken a mouthful

There have been times when I've had a glass of wine and absentmindedly put my hand into their dish that has been on the table, thinking they're munchies. Thankfully I've never been so bad I didn't realise.

Bola likes bran flakes so he probably thought it'd be a fair swap

oh yuck, you would have smelt ( is that a word) them before you put them in your mouth.....................................I hope.

I posted about this on another forum and a member replied saying he'd tasted dry food and it

doesn't taste as bad as it smells. It's not exactly tasty but it isn't disgusting either

I'll be taking his word for it

I nearly did that with the dog biscuits, after giving Mutley his breakfast I went to pick up the cereal, which is in the same kind of tubs as the dog bics, and nearly poured them into a bowl. I noticed that the top was blue wheras the other tub lids are orange.
