He didn't stay long, he'd gone when I went downstairs half an hour later.

I don't think he stayed the night, at least he wasn't in when I got back from the pub, but he was here this morning when I got up and didn't he just let me know he was hungry

Re: GT, he's back....but......
Judging by the amount he's just eaten, they've improved. He had half a tin of Bozita cat food, followed by some cooked chicken, then some cooked ham.........then as I had the fridge open, he asked for some more chicken He's presently fast asleep on top of the drawers in the hall, no doubt too bloated to move far atmpokbg wrote:lol! Re: GT, he's back....but......
He came back in later and I left him asleep on top of the drawers in the hall when I went to bed, but when I got up today the hall looked like a bomb had gone off
I've got the habit of leaving all junk mail, free newspapers, etc, on top of the drawers, and they, along with a couple of small ornaments were scattered all over the floor. I don't know how he managed to do it, but it must have scared the bejazus out of him

Hahahahaha oh that poor cat, there is always something up with him. But maybe he just decided to scatter them for the sheer devilment of it.

He didn't get it tho'

Re: GT, he's back....but......
He got into a right scrap last night, I didn't see it but I recognised his *voice* while it was going on and it sounded like a cat version of WW3 Bola dashed to the flap to look but he was too scared to go outside and check. GT was unscathed when he came in a couple of hours later but refused food and just went to sleep, I don't know for sure, but I reckon he had a showdown with the spraying black tom.

Re: GT, he's back....but......
He's just come wandering in, had three chicken wings and some raw minced beef, then strolled off out again. I hadn't seen him since Saturday morning, I think he's a bit confused about the flap being locked at night now, and sometimes during the day while I'm out, I just hope these changes don't put him off calling altogether.

Not for the first time, he showed his gratitude by throwing up on his way out, tho' at least this time he was outside before the main part of it came back.maddymoo wrote:Ian B wrote:, I just hope these changes don't put him off calling altogether.

lol! As so everything is back to normal, vomit included... lol!
Re: GT, he's back....but......
I'm lucky if he calls once a day now, a quick feed and he's off out again. It might be my imagination, but he looks like he's lost weight, not a lot, but he seems slimmer. He might call after I've locked the flap at night, I hope not as he might start thinking he isn't welcome anymore.

Re: GT, he's back....but......
I've just been downstairs to see if there was any sign of him, and there he was, sat patiently in the kitchen I don't know why he's stopped coming looking for me tho' Still, on the bright side, for the very first time he rolled on his back for a belly rub when he saw me
'EDIT'
Damn, he'd gone again when I went to see if he was still hungry.
I'd like to think his visits are getting less frequent because he's gone *home* and they are looking after him properly, and he just pops in to let me know he's ok and is saying thank you for feeding him/giving somewhere to sleep.............yeah I know, that's rubbish, but it's a nice thought tho' isn't it?

Re: GT, he's back....but......
It is a nice thought.... and nothing nicer then being greeted with a kitty showing belly for rub. Bless!
Re: GT, he's back....but......
Amizingly, I've just found him sat on top of the cooker, soaked to the skin mind this is the first time I've seen him this early in the day for a fair while now. It must be the rain that persuaded him to call, tho' I'll be curious to see if he stays for a sleep this time.......he didn't, and left half of his breakfast.
