Re: Saffy is missing
That could be a good chance of that having happened, especialyl with her being tiny too... anyone would fall for her in an instant, and possibly think she's a lost kitten... hopefully, if that's the case, they'll spot the posters soon.
Re: Saffy is missing
Neighbours of my parents lost their beautiful kitten a few months ago, he just ran out the front door and they couldn't catch him. Like you they put up posters and three weeks later and couple from four streets away brought him back, he was disheviled but fine. No-one knew where he had been.
This must happen a lot, Nicola, so please don't give up hope. Someone MUST have seen/have her. xx

saffy loves everyone animal or human it don't matter, if she sees someone walking past the house she go's on the pillar outside the house and will meow to them till they come and give her some attention, so yes someone could have taken her in and tbh I hope that is what has happened.
Absolutely! That could have happened and if it has thats brilliant as, as soon as they take her to the vets for a check up as 'they've found a stray kitten' the first thing the vet will do is scan for the microchip. Oh Nic, you must sick to the core with worry, but as others have said, you can't do anymore than you're doing already and there's nothing you could done to stop her getting out so I know you will be feeling guilty as we all would, but believe me, this is NOT your fault, so put that guilt to one side, carry on doing what your doing. Re: Saffy is missing
OMG!!!! Just seen this hunny (((HUGS)))
Any more news yet? Like the others have said, it's the not knowing which is the worst part Fingers crossed somebody HAS thought she was a stray kitten with her being so small and taken her in.....though I would hope they would have the decency (if they see your posters) to let you know where she is rather than decide to keep her for themselves
Come on Saffy.....get yourself home now....Mummy's worried!!!!!!

Hopefully it'll be a similar situation to how I got Bola., Ok, that was different in that they had my phone number, but they hadn't a clue where I lived. I'm in the same village/town, but for all they knew I could have been miles away.
There's time yet for someone to see your posters and realise that the cat they *found* is Saffy and has a home and will let you know.

Re: Saffy is missing
You maybe don't remember that I was looking after a lost cat for 3 weeks before she was returned to her owner, so who's to say she isn't with someone and they just haven't thought to contact CP or vets to let them know they have found her. Stay strong Nicola, I still think it's early days yet. x

I know how you feel when we moved house a few years ago Sammy (may he rest in peace) escaped he was an outdoor cat but he had never been out there. He was gone for 3 weeks then one day my sister went out and saw him. He was just around the corner behind some houses but because he didn't know the area he couldn't find his way back.
