Saffy is missing

Hi Nicola,

Babymeows (over at CM forum) brothers cat, Tiger Lily, went missing and right out of the blue has just returned safe and sound. Granted she wasn't gone as long as Saffy, *only* a few days, but it shows it can happen so don't give up on her.

Nicola it maybe worth your while putting flyers through letterboxes again, even the same houses, she maybe in a house but they don't remember your number or have thrown out the poster. For CP Steve and I put posters up on street lamps and bus stops, have you tried that?

I do think that chances are she's been taken in somewhere. With her being quite smallish and so loving, it would have been hard to resist if someone spotted her, possibly thinking she was lost.

Even if they don't notice your flyers, it could be that they will take her to the vets (to be done if she goes into heat again soon) and hopefully they will scan her. Have you tried calling all local vets to notify them to scan all new kitties? I know they're supposed to, but we had to ASK our vets to scan BG when we took her in, even though we had already told them that we had found her.

Valid point, I've had to ask our vets to scan any cats we get in through CP, they just don't seem to do it automatically, which I find amazing. DOH!!!!!

I have phoned all the vets in and around my area today to let them know she has not come home yet and i ask if they would scan the cats that come into them to see if it's her.

Good, there's no more you can do really, we'll just have to keep on hoping.

Your doing all you can Nic, let's just hope that she is warm and safe somewhere. Have you tried putting up psoters in surrounding villages/towns, maybe someone a little further away might have her and haven't seen your previous posters. If yuo have a local radio station you could try them, we have three diffrent stations here, so maybe try a few of those too.

That's such a good idea. Are there any local shelters you could contact too? You never know, someone like yourself or Kath might be looking after her.

I was so sad to return home and see she's still missing. My heart really goes out to you, mate xx
